It’s been a long time in preparation, but I’m happy to report that the paper on McSAS3 has finally been published! It can be enjoyed here: https://doi.org/10.1107/S1600576726009568 . It has three application examples, solving the scattering signal from 1) a bimodal dispersion, 2) a bimodal, intercalating silica powder, and 3) from size-disperse scatterers whose elementary form factor is described using simulated data.
The paper has been adapted to include the last software upgrades as well discussed last time, i.e. the faster optimization as well as the possibility to add a Porod slope to the background optimization step. Let me know if you’re using it or if it has been of use to you!
