Hey all,
The SAS2024 conference will be upon us in a few weeks. It’ll be an excellent opportunity to meet many of you again. Please do say hi if you see me passing by, and let me know if you want to meet up at some point for a more in-depth chat.
I’ve had to change my appearance recently, so if you see this mug pass by, that’s me:
I’ll be presenting on the 3rd of November one of the introductory SAS lectures in the morning, and in the afternoon I’ll be at the CanSAS meet.
On the 4th I’ll be giving a talk on “Chasing Perfection: a holistic approach to materials science scattering experiments” in parallel session MOD-1 (room 1F 101CD), which you’re all cordially invited to attend. In this talk, I’ll be trying to tie together the many different aspects that make up a near-perfect experiment. It’ll be a bit of a more broad-scope overview of what we have been doing to get better experimental findings.
See you all in three weeks!
